I am Dr. Wanda Terral and I am excited to be working on this new project, "Fortune Cookie Pedagogy: Bite-sized Wisdom for Educators." I look forward to sharing insights I've compiled over thirty years in education and to join the X-Factor EDU author family.

Interested in writing a vignette for the book? Keep scrolling!

I am seeking contributors willing to share their own bites of wisdom. Each of the twelve chapters will include vignettes (350-500 words) from other educators. It's a great opportunity for you to share the impact you are having and get included in a book!

The interest form asks for some basic contact information (that will not be shared with anyone or used by anyone other than me) and has you select 3-5 topics (from a list of 12) you feel interested in writing about. Submitting this form does NOT commit you to writing. Submitting this form does not commit me to inviting you to submit a vignette. This form is just step one.

After I review your submission and those by others, I will send you an email with more information about which topic I would like you to write about, some guidelines for the submission, and I will even give you some possible writing prompts to help you get started.

A note about Generative AI - I am comfortable with you using your Generative AI tool of choice for brainstorming & planning but I really want YOUR words when it comes to the writing. Generative AI can be useful for suggesting possible revisions but YOU do the revisions. I really don't want the book to be written by a Generative AI tool. I want YOU to have the sense of accomplishment when you see your writing in print.
